the SHADOWS Project Playlist

This fall I’ll be gathering with a group of folks to beta test the SHADOWS project: an online cohort-based coaching series designed to help you connect and be in deep relationship with the many ways you’re a part of this world, and help you uncover how your own shadow material contains gifts that will help you make this world a better place - for yourself and for others.

Digital illustration. Background is dark purple and black-purple on the left and brighter purple to blue-purple on the right. Top left, text in all caps reads THE SHADOWS PROJECT. In the middle is a design of wavy concentric circles.

The time we are upon is a time of destruction, dismantling, crumbling, breaking, composting, and dying. It is a time of transition, a time of death. A time when the world we have always known, that generations of people have known, is ending. And this phase is going to last for quite a while.

Yet, even though we can’t see much beyond those endings and deaths, there are tiny beginnings of a new world. There is creation. And what this world most needs right now is an entire ecosystem of humans who are willing to radically conceive, create and build into our most longed-for, harmonious, balanced future possible.

We each are on a healing journey. All of us need to encounter our destructive habits - those that need to stop - so that we can replace them with beneficial and restorative approaches. This will allow us to join together with more connectivity to address, repair and heal collective, historical and generational traumas.

One of the most helpful things you can do is to stop idealizing progress at any cost; to put an end to the narratives about your own progress as separate, unique, or disconnected from the communities in which you inhabit your life. To stop seeing yourself as an individual whose actions are separate from the world. We are meant to live in a state of active and constant interdependence.

By engaging with the SHADOWS project, you are invited to explore the linkages between your individual self, your individual shadow material and the collective shadow. Gain a deeper understanding of how the relationships between your beliefs, choices and actions create ripples, connecting and interacting with those of the collective.

Rather than trying to heal in isolation by banishing, vanquishing or resolving your shadow so that it’s a part you no longer interact with, the SHADOWS project is all about inviting you to build and deepen shadow relationships.
