Writing Relationships Workshop

$0.00

Come together with other LGBTQIA+ survivors of relationship violence for a powerful workshop where we will write together, feel together and heal together.

Writing in a collective can be both powerful and vulnerable. In this trauma-informed, healing-centered workshop, you will not be asked to share details of your traumatic or violent experiences with others. Facilitation will center collective regulation and collective care.

As a group we will engage in:

  • Writing in different forms, such as with object or poem prompts, free-writing, and structured writing.

  • Somatic practices that provide your body and nervous systems with messages of support and calm.

  • Playfully engaging in the Buddhist idea of right relationship, focused on creating harmony, joy, and well-being in all relationships, including the ones we have with ourselves.

  • Creating a written blessing and invocation focused on collective and personal healing.

This facilitated workshop offered by Lucinda Pepper will follow an adapted Writing to Wholeness method.

LGBTQIA+ people who identify as survivors of relationship violence, including intimate partner violence, are welcome to attend.

No experience with writing, somatics, or Buddhism is required.

ASL interpretation will be provided.

Please note: this is a free workshop with limited spots available. Please only register if you are planning to attend.
